A transcript is simply the written version of an audio recording, with no particular format. Subtitles, on the other hand, are the written version of the audio track of a video, in a special text format that can be added to the video itself, and synchronized so that it appears at the exact time the words are spoken.
When you buy a minutes package you can send us one or more files, as long as the total duration does not exceed the number of minutes you purchased. For example, if you buy 120 minutes you can send us ten 12-minute files or six 20-minute files for captioning, it doesn’t matter.
If there are more than 3 speakers, the audio quality is poor, or the language is not standard, we reserve the right to apply a surcharge to the number of minutes consumed, equal to an extra 10% for each requirement that is not met. For example, subtitling 10 minutes of low-quality audio consumes 11 minutes. If there are more than 3 speakers as well, the minutes consumed will be 12, and so on.
