Carmina Fernández
Technical translator, project manager, text and furniture restorer

A graduate in Translation and Interpretation from the Jaume I University of Castellón and holder of an MBA degree from the Granada Chamber of Commerce, after learning the trade as a project manager and operations manager in a translation agency and teaching CAT tool courses at the University of Zaragoza, she decided to go freelance. She has been translating and proofreading technical and environment-related texts from English, German and Italian into Spanish and managing localization projects for more than a decade. Her interest in saving the planet, minimalism and zero waste philosophy extends from her professional activities to her personal life: she devotes part of her spare time to breathe new life into furniture that is almost ready for disposal. She has recently begun adding a soundtrack to her life (and that of her neighbours) by learning to play the guitar.
