Audio describer for series, movies, theater performances, and museum audioguides

Viviana began her career as a translator at SSLMIT in Forlì, later specializing in Audiovisual Translation in Spain, where she discovered the world of accessibility and became passionate about it. She also fell in love with Seville, where she now resides. Constantly divided between Italy and Andalusia, she works in cultural accessibility, particularly in audio description for blind and visually impaired people: carefully choosing words, she describes movies and series for the streaming giant, as well as theater performances (being a theater enthusiast for years and part of an amateur company in her rare free moments).

Occasionally, she disappears to visit museums or cultural sites to create accessible audioguides. When not working on audio description, she also deals with subtitles for the deaf, consulting, and training. In fact, she worked for eleven years at ISTRAD, a training institution where she designed and coordinated the Master's in Cultural Accessibility.

Today she collaborates as a lecturer with other institutions and is responsible for training at the Fedora cultural association as well as the coordinator of FOSCA. Outside her professional sphere, she has tried her hand at a bit of everything, albeit unsuccessfully, from painting to electric bass. She loves vegetarian cuisine, tattoos, and the sea of her native Puglia.
