Chiara Boarina

Translator, subtitler, russophile.

A graduate in Languages, Civilization and Language Sciences from Ca' Foscari University in Venice, she also has a degree in Specialized Translation from the University of Bologna. In the meantime, she is completing a course in Linguistic Assistance for the Judiciary. She has always had a soft spot for Russia and everything about it, to the point that she decided to spend two winters there, first in Tula, then in Moscow, which she survived. Since 2019 she has been working as a freelance translator from English and Russian, mainly in the field of audiovisual and technical translation. After a 2-month internship in the Qabiria offices, she is re-evaluating Russian winters and looking for a way to eventually cross the Ural Mountains.
