She has a degree in Historical, Artistic and Cultural Heritage (specialising in archaeology) from the University of Sassari, a Master’s in Tourism and the Environment from the University of Pisa and another degree in Languages, Cultures and International Communication from the University of Sassari. After an Erasmus course in Coimbra and an internship at the Prehistory Museum of Valencia, she realised once and for all that (modern) Latin languages held a much greater fascination for her than fossils, and so she embarked on a career as a translator. In 2015, she joined a translation agency in Barcelona as a project manager and the following year she repeated her experience as a trainee in Qabiria. She reluctantly returned to Italy and put her overseas experience to good use by becoming a full-time freelance translator. When not in front of the computer translating or taking refresher courses, she tries to combine her passion for languages with her passion for food, trying her hand at culinary experiments, especially desserts, and being inspired by chefs and food influencers from all over the world. When opening the oven, she occasionally reflects on fossils with nostalgia.
