Support for internationalization of software
As a software house and service company specializing in providing application programs for Local Police, Incloud Team needs a high level of accuracy in the translations of its software content, which is used by more than 250 police commands.
Qabiria contributed to Incloud Team’s expansion with an internationalization consulting service and then specialized translation of templates for administrative minutes to be sent abroad.
As project manager of Incloud Team, I had the pleasure of working with Qabiria on the internationalization of the forms produced by our software. The challenge
Incloud Team, a software house that specializes in providing applications for local police departments, was to provide the service of sending foreign users' minutes abroad. With more than 250 police commands using Incloud’s software, it was essential to ensure that translations of minutes into German, English, Spanish and French were accurate and in line with the needs of each municipality to which the service is offered.
The solution
Incloud Team approached Qabiria, which contributed in three stages:
- firstly, the Qabiria team conducted a detailed analysis of the file formats produced by Incloud Team’s software (JSON and HTML).
- subsequently, it provided consultancy to Incloud Team’s development team regarding the best software internationalization strategy, finding the right balance between speed and flexibility.
- finally, it was tasked with assembling a team of translators not only specialized in the legal field but also experts in software localization, to whom translations in German, English, Spanish, and French were assigned..
In particular, Qabiria focused on the translation of templates for administrative minutes to be sent abroad. These reports, written in Italian, are used to notify road users living abroad of traffic violations committed in Italy.
The result
Through collaboration with Qabiria, Incloud Team has achieved tangible results:

Increased penalty balance rate - Thanks to accurate translations of administrative record templates, the penalty payment rate of users living abroad has increased.

Increased satisfaction of the municipalities served - As a result of this increase, the trust and satisfaction of the administrators of the municipalities using the service of printing and sending minutes abroad have increased.
The collaboration between Qabiria and Incloud Team continues, even with a view to a future release of the software in multiple languages.
