ISTRAD College in Seville asked us to prepare the advanced WordPress content management module to be integrated into its Master’s Degree in Translation and Marketing - Transcreation and Multilingual Advertising.

The challenge
ISTRAD faced the challenge of integrating an advanced content management module based on WordPress into the curriculum of the Master’s in Translation and Marketing - Transcreation and Multilingual Advertising. The module was to provide students with a thorough understanding of content management systems (CMS) and their role in translation and multilingual content creation.
The solution
Marco Cevoli was in charge of preparing the teaching materials for this WordPress module and also took care of the teaching, which took place through online sessions.
The module has been structured to cover key topics such as "What is and what is the purpose of a CMS," "Types of CMS," "The most commonly used CMS," and "The WordPress case: from blogging platform to wildcard" and "Translation flow of a blog with WPML."
The program integrated theoretical lectures with hands-on practice to enable students to acquire practical skills in content management with WordPress.
The result
Both students and academic leadership received the module and lectures positively. Students have gained a thorough understanding of content management systems and their practical applications.
The collaboration with ISTRAD continues, with Marco Cevoli also serving as a lecturer in the Master’s program in Translation and New Technologies.
