Last June 2022, we launched an initiative to foster the accessibility of audiovisual content from nonprofit organizations and foundations and promote its dissemination through social media.
Opening this project was a collaboration with the Fundación Noelia, a nonprofit organization against congenital muscular dystrophy due to collagen VI deficiency.
In support of this cause, we offered our subtitling and professional translation services free of charge, at the Collagen VI Meeting virtual congress, held June 10-12, 2022.
With this small contribution, the valuable contents of these scientific days, will now be usable by an English-speaking, as well as hearing-impaired, audience, which, in the words of Amaia Uribe-Etxebarria, responsable for institutional and international relations of the foundation,
“have been an unprecedented success in terms of room attendance.”
The idea is to extend these kinds of offerings to other entities working in the social field, to promote some of the positive values we believe in, such as solidarity and mutual aid.
